I just got my hair cut by Toni yesterday and I’ve already gotten tons of compliments, not to mention I now stop by every mirror I come by 😅 If you have curly hair like me, you understand it can be stressful sometimes to trust that your hairstylist knows how to handle/cut it. I had absolutely no worries about this when it came to Toni. She even taught me certain products to use to keep a beautiful curl in my hair all day. It was also super easy to talk to her, she has such a fun personality that made it feel like I made a new friend rather than just going to get my haircut.  Lastly, I can’t leave a review on here without pointing out the BEST shampoo/massage I have ever gotten. i’d go back to her and pay full price for a haircut just for her to wash my hair again 😂

So thankful for Toni! I was visiting Ocean Shores on vacation when the thread broke on of my weft hair extensions and half of it was hanging off my head. I panicked because my regular stylist is 3 hours from here and- vacation. I called Toni and she was so kind and accommodating. Got me in same day and flawlessly rebeaded and sewed my weft back in. The extensions look and feel incredible. If I lived here I would absolutely have her be my extension gal.

2025 update: Toni is now providing state of the art scalp therapy and it’s absolutely incredible! She starts with using a microscope to show you your scalp, hair follicles and it was so interesting! Then you’re tucked into a cozy and warm bed as she uses the most incredible and relaxing oils to gently scrub and massage your scalp and shoulders, almost putting me into a deep sleep! My favorite part was the warm “hair halo” (look this up on her Instagram!) that acts like a hair car wash and it was one of the most relaxing, unique and best self-care spa treatments I’ve ever received! I’m hooked! Thank you Toni for providing such a great service! It’s a must!

New to the area and did a quick internet search for hair salons in Ocean Shores.  Toni Fountain had great reviews, and it was close to where I am staying, so decided to give her a shot.  I went for a color and cut, and she sat with me to determine what color would be good for me and how I wanted the cut.  I have always relied on my stylist to know what is best for me, and Toni thought it would be good to mix a few colors together to get my color just right.  She uses a steam machine to make the color set quicker which is great!  When it was time to wash, she did a scalp massage which is something I haven't had at other salons.  She did the cut and style, and my hair looked really great (for at least a day because I don't spend a lot of time on my hair and I could never make it look that great again!). I am completely satisfied with the cut and the color is awesome!  I would definitely recommend Toni if you need a change to your hair!

I am so delighted to have Toni at Salon by the Sea in Ocean Shores.  So happy I found her!  I needed a fresh look without looking too fresh, lol, and she delivered!  Plus I got extensions for more body, love them!   Toni is fantastic!   The pictures show my hair  after the extensions which blend perfectly with my hair color.

Best hair experience I have ever had! Toni is so thoughtful and kind. She helped me choose the right shade of blonde for my skin tone and talked me through the process. Plus, she included drinks and snacks! While washing the bleach out, she also included a head massage with aromatherapy oils which was very relaxing! I couldn’t recommend her more!

I recommend her 1000%! I have not cut my hair since I was 8 and was so nervous to get it cut. However, with the summer approaching and the maintenance long hair requires, it was time for the chop.

I felt so at ease as soon as I met her! I have only gone into a hair salon once in my life, so I was feeling nervous about that on top of the nerves of cutting all that hair.

I had a couple ideas but didn't have a clear plan. However, Toni explained each step to me which helped me understand what she was doing with my hair. I never felt left in the dark, it was fantastic! She also set up a tripod for her phone to help get the best shot of the first cut, and gave me the scissors to make the first cut myself - I hadn't even thought of that, and it was so thoughtful and made the experience even more special for me.

She was very understanding of the possible shock of seeing my hair so short and took it very slow with a less is more approach, which I was really thankful for since I have no idea what I'm doing and felt a could rely on her expertise. In the end we cut 14 inches off! So worth it, and now I'm planning on donating it.

Oh, and I LOVE the end result! I have an appointment for next week for optional touchups, which is an awesome option to have. Overall, I had an excellent experience and if you're hesitating on finding a hair stylist that you can trust, go to Toni! And this is coming from someone who shies from taking any chances and probably over-researches. If you're like me, you can stop the search and worrying and book an appointment with her because I'm sure you won't regret it.

If you need your hair done, Toni is your girl! She did such an amazing job on my hair, no complaints at all. I was previously going to someone else but I had the worst experience ever and Toni took me on as a client and fixed my hair 🥹💜

All I can say is "Wow"..Toni Fountain in Ocean Shores, is So Worth the Drive..Toni is a California Girl ..but Now here in Gray's Harbor. I have been to a few Salons in the Past Year but All they did was waste my Time to Transition my hair from Very black to a Lighter Brown. They wanted me to transition my Color..which would've have taken a few times and obviously a lot of Money. Toni the day I found you was heaven for me and my hair.   You took me from horrible extensions to learning about good extensions and how to treat my hair the correct way.  You took your time to explain what you where doing and why you were doing it. Toni is amazing! I had quarantine hair. Couldn't go to the salon last year so I took matters into my own hands and bleached them myself. Ended up with incredibly damaged hair afterwards. My hair was tragic. I needed professional help. That's when I found Toni. I was impressed with her work. Her extensions were undetectable. Very seamless. I’m so glad I found Toni! Had been wearing a different method of hair extensions for the past year. Not aware that specific method was damaging my scalp ended up with red spot on my scalp. Toni was extremely professional she want to know what result you want to achieve length or volume. She’s a perfectionist with her work really takes her time to do everything the proper way. My results are great, hair looks really healthy shinny and my extensions are so comfortable nothing is peeking through. I have been a client of Toni’s for many years. Ive had haircuts, tons of color and for the last 5 years I’ve had extensions. I truly consider her an expert! She is so professional and listens to your ideas very carefully. She’s honest with you if she feels that maybe something you like might not work with your hair type. And I appreciate that. She’s always on time for my appt. and her time spent is always quality. You never feel like she’s rushing to get you out for her next client. You’re in her chair and she makes you feel like you are top priority. Love her. I will continue to ONLY allow Toni to touch my hair. We all know finding a stylist is like finding a good Dr. We all want one we trust.

I can’t say enough good things about Toni. She is truly gifted. Toni answered my questions honestly, and helped find the perfect cut and color for me. What can I say other than Toni is amazing! I have been going to Toni for about 7-8 years. She always takes the time to ask questions and listen to achieve the look I am wanting. She recommends the best products for me to use at home to maintain my color. Always being sensitive to not push the product but suggest it. Her prices are extremely fair and reasonable. She will always try and accommodate an appointment when she is able to do so. Since coming to her my hair is the healthiest it has ever been! During the Covid quarantine I was unable to see her for four months. Though I had typical re-growth my hair was very healthy and the blonde maintained exceptionally well. I highly recommend Toni!

Toni Fountain is located in the Sola Suites part of the building. I love this new location as it is near some fantastic places to eat or shop. Toni’s suite is #215. It’s a fantastic building with a clean bathroom, and a filtered water refill station.  Toni has been doing my hair for almost a year, color, cut and eyebrow waxing. She is amazing!
